Lead
vocals I was spawned back in February of 71 in a
town called Waxahachie. Two years later my parents decided to move to Ennis
Tx. The two towns look the same. I started my musical interest at a very
young age. When I was 9 my mother put me into the school band. I started on
the Trumpet (whooohooo!). But that was not enough! Back to Top

all started back when I was a youngster. My father was a guitar player in a
band called "Cross Town Traffic". Took intrest in guitars at about 8 , but
never took it seriously. At 11, I started playing trumpet in the school
band, wasn't too bad at it. So when I had turned to the tender age off 12, I
thought I would give myself another shot at the guitar thing! Well guess
what , it turned out I had a knack for that too! Back to Top

Flick |
Bassist
|
||
![]() |
Bass Guitar, Vocals ,
Songwriter Some would say that Flick is outstanding in his field. And when bassist Mark Niedringhaus retired from 2 Fast 4 Ethel that's exactly where Tony, Jimmy, and James found him.....out standing in his field. From the small dirt farm community of Pleasant Valley, Texas, came the newest member of the band brandishing a style of bass playing like no other. Although his past is somewhat of an enigma, rumor has it that Flick has performed in venues across the United States from Laconia, New Hampshire, to Las Vegas, Nevada, spanning the course of 27 years. In April 2006 fate would witness the collision course between Flick and 2 Fast 4 Ethel when Tony, Jimmy and James accepted him as one of their own. The future is wide open now for 2 Fast 4 Ethel, as Flick struggles to balance on the ultra-fine line between popular and notorious, genius and insanity. Back to Top

Drums Brent has been actively playing classic/ hard rock & blues for more than two decades. Originally from the North Texas area, Brent has been greatly influenced by the many great players originating from the Lone Star State. He toured Europe extensively for three years and was awarded as the Best Drummer in Germany, 1995. Brent has worked with organizations such as the USO and with other military morale support activities. Brent is part of a long legacy of players from his Dad’s side of the family. The Davis Family Band was a Grapevine, Texas favorite – especially favored in the Grapevine VFW. Brent states “I’m pretty sure this is where I learned all my country licks, and the famous Ft. Worth shuffle”. Brent’s Uncle Keith Davis was a renowned studio musician in the D/FW area in the 70’s and 80’s, and was the leader of a successful Las Vegas show band for many years. “Uncle Keith always had some of the most talented musicians showing up at the family studio – I learned a lot from those guys”. Brent’s highlight thus far in his musical career was performing with his original rock band from Germany at the Department of Defense World Wide Battle of Bands. “We performed in front of a couple of thousand people at that event – all were concerned for their safety”. “Some of the best gigs I have played were in small villages in the German countryside, where the entire town would turn out for the show”.
